Steve Irwin’s Aussie Zoo

This will forever be a highlight of this trip. This zoo promotes preservation and education so they let you pet many of the animals and reptiles. I held a Koala and got to ‘pet’ a baby alligator, a boa, a lizard, and fed kangaroos, wallabies and an elephant named Sabu. A bonus was to spot a little joey koala peeking out from his mom.
